Richland Library Poetry and Me Teen Series

The Watering Hole Poetry Organization is inviting teens ages 11-15 to participate in our summer poetry workshop series. We will spend the summer learning to express ourselves through poetry by reading, writing, editing and reviewing contemporary works. We will end the summer in celebration by holding a Poetry Contest, building a Chapbook, and taking part in the creation of a Spoken Word CD Project produced by BlessedBeats Lester Boykin. Some of our facilitators will include Poet and Teaching Artists Co-Founders and Directors of The Watering Hole Candace Wiley, Tammaka Staley, and more.
