TWH Lit Kids Go To DC

Join The Watering Hole Lit Kids for a FUN, EDUCATIONAL TRIP to DC! We will be staying at the Staybridge Suites in Herndon, VA for 2 nights and 3 days while we meet and partner with arts organizations from the Md, DC, Va area for fellowship and building community! This trip is for all rising 6th through 9th graders in South Carolina.

We will be departing from Columbia, SC on Monday August 14th and returning on Wednesday August 16th

Here’s what the tirp includes:

-Visit to the MLK Memorial Statue

-Visit to the new National Museum of African American History and Culture

-a quick tour of DC and stops at special tourist attractions

-a visit to an HBCU in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area (tba)
